Just a few blocks from our present location, in the heart of Clinton, stands our original church on the corner of Church St. and Tecumseh-Clinton Rd. The land was purchased in 1835 and by 1858 there were 125 members. When membership hit 302, the discussion about building a new church began. We gathered for worship in the new building on Easter Sunday in 2002.
We love our new church and visitors are always welcome. Many have discovered the warmth and support of Christ's family here.
If you are looking for a church home, we hope you will consider the variety of ministries and activities we offer for you and for every member of your family. We also give back to the community through the following Mission and Outreach activities: hosting the community food pantry, School Supply collection for local students, Red Cross Blood Drives, Line Dancing classes, Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection through Samaritan's Purse, a Christmas collection of hats, mittens, and scarfs for school children and Catherine Cobb center and a Christmas Wish Tree for needy families.
Come and join in the fun, as we grow in faith, service and spirit. We invite you to make Clinton United Methodist Church your church home.
